Zibuke OnCall sells repair plans that help customers manage their home maintenance. A Sales Representative does not just sell a plan. The Sales Representative explains the service, answers customer questions honestly, records appliance details correctly, and helps customers make a clear decision.
This role matters because every honest sale builds trust between Zibuke OnCall and the community. When a customer signs up for a repair plan, they are trusting us with their money and their appliances. If the sale is honest, the customer feels safe. If the sale is pressured, the customer feels cheated.
You will be the person families trust to manage their home maintenance. You will explain what is included in their plan and what is not. You will tell them about the 6-month waiting period. You will record the make, model, and serial number of every appliance correctly. You will help them make a decision they can live with.
This is not about closing deals. This is about building relationships. Every customer you sign up honestly is a customer who trusts Zibuke OnCall. Every customer you pressure is a customer who might cancel or complain. You make the difference.
Every day, you will explain, record, and build trust. Your work helps families manage their home maintenance and helps Zibuke OnCall grow honestly.
This role is for someone who believes in honest selling. You do not pressure people. You explain clearly. You let the customer decide. You understand that trust is more valuable than a quick sale.
You should apply if:
We do not require specific qualifications for this role. We require proof that you can sell honestly and build trust. You will complete an accountability assessment before appointment. This assessment proves you can do the work.
Before you earn a guaranteed salary, you prove yourself through real work. This is Phase 1. It is commission only. You earn money from every sale you make, but you do not receive a basic salary yet.
If you have not reached 45 packages by the end of Month 3, you need at least 33 packages to qualify for a one month extension. If you have 33 or more, you may receive one more month to reach 45. If you have fewer than 33, your assessment ends at the 3 month mark.
You earn commission on every active, paying subscription. The commission is calculated on the net subscription price after 15% VAT is removed.
The commission level depends on the package the customer chooses. You earn commission from the first sale. There is no minimum number of sales before commission starts.
You move from Phase 1 to Phase 2 when you sell 45 active, paying subscriptions. This means 45 customers have signed up and paid their first subscription.
When you graduate, you start earning a guaranteed basic salary the following month. You also become eligible for monthly bonuses on top of your salary.
Phase 1 is performance based. Phase 2 is salary based with performance bonuses. The difference is clear: in Phase 1, you earn only what you sell. In Phase 2, you earn a guaranteed salary plus bonuses for selling above your target.
After you graduate from Phase 1, you earn a guaranteed basic salary of R7 500 per month. This is paid every month regardless of your sales performance. It is your guaranteed income.
Your monthly target is 20 new packages. This is the number of new sales you need to make each month to demonstrate accountability. The first 20 packages are part of your monthly target and do not create bonus packages.
You qualify for a bonus when you sell more than 20 new packages in a month. The bonus is calculated on the net subscription price after 15% VAT is removed, multiplied by the number of new packages above 20.
| Customer Payment Type | Your Bonus | Example: Gold Package |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Customer | 100% of First Month's Net Premium | R399 minus 15% VAT = R347 net. You get R347 bonus |
| Annual Upfront | 10% of Net Annual Upfront | R3,990 minus 15% VAT = R3,470 net. You get R347 bonus |
We pay your bonuses in the same month the sale is verified and your customer's first payment clears.
These examples show what you could earn each month in Phase 2. Actual earnings depend on the subscription price, VAT, and the number of packages sold above the target.
| Packages Sold | Bonus Calculation | Basic Salary | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | R0 (first 5 included in salary) | R7 500 | R7 500 |
| 8 (3 extra) | 3 multiplied by ~R347 (Gold average) = R1 041 | R7 500 | R8 541 |
| 12 (7 extra) | 7 multiplied by ~R347 = R2 429 | R7 500 | R9 929 |
| 20 (15 extra) | 15 multiplied by ~R347 = R5 205 | R7 500 | R12 705 |
If you sell more than 20 packages, every package above 20 counts for bonus and accountability bar score. An annual upfront customer earns you the same bonus from a single sale.
The Sales Representative works from Wednesday to Sunday. The workday is 9 hours per day. Monday and Tuesday are days off.
This schedule gives you two consecutive days to rest and recharge. It also means you work when customers are home and available to talk about their appliance protection needs.
A Sales Representative can progress toward Sales Manager. Promotion is earned through accountable performance, not promised in advance.
The next role is Sales Manager. The Sales Manager basic salary is R16 000 per month. The Sales Manager leads a core team of 12 Sales Representatives and earns bonuses when their team performs well.
Promotion is not automatic. It is based on consistent, accountable performance over time.
After passing your assessment, you earn an Accountability Score measured in bars. Bars measure your ranking among colleagues.
Bars earned each month reset on the 29th, but are added to your cumulative annual total which determines your annual bonus. The management sets the value of each bar based on annual profitability.
The Sales Representative role is secure for people who do the work well. Here is what you need to know about keeping your job.
Your job stays secure while you keep a portfolio above 45 active customers. This means you have at least 45 customers who are paying their subscriptions. If your portfolio drops below 45, you need to build it back up.
You need to sell at least 20 new packages every month to demonstrate accountability. This is your performance baseline. If you consistently fall below this target, even after management has offered support and interventions, your employment may end in accordance with labour law.
If you are underperforming because of factors outside your control, we may consider moving you to another unit or division within Zibuke OnCall. We evaluate these situations on a case by case basis.
We follow labour regulations at all times. The 20 package monthly target exists so you can show us, every month, that your accountability is strong. If you fall short after support has been offered, your employment may end. This always happens with dignity and within the law.
If you believe in honest selling. If you want to help families manage their home maintenance. If you are willing to prove yourself through real work. Apply now.
